The C46 ceiling system gives maximum freedom regarding form, colour combination and integrated / concealed lighting fittings.
The ceiling is based upon the popular spline/panel design – but in a new form in which panels are of differing widths, panel direction can easily be changed, and not least, there is a choice of colours for both panel and spline.
Using the latest production technology, almost any cassette is available, but the standard size is 600 x 600 mm. TNF manufactures cassettes with several types of standard perforations, but tailor patterns are also available.
A cassette ceiling is good choice as far as maintenance is concerned as any individual cassette can be removed.
Ceiling layout
When planning the layout of the ceiling, different requirements may have to be taken into consideration. A demand for a symmetrical layout in all or some of the rooms, the location of light fittings, ventilation units etc. may be decisive for the choice of layout. When no such requirements exist, the recommended layout is the one minimizing waste and cutting of ceiling tiles.
– room width 2600 mm needs: 1 tile cut to 300 x 600 mm, 3 tiles 600 x 600 mm and 1 tile cut to 500 x 600 mm.
– room width 2700 mm needs: 1 tile cut to 300 x 600 mm and 4 tiles 600 x 600 mm.
– room width 2800 mm needs: 4 tiles 600 x 600 mm and 1 tile cut to 400 x 600 mm.
